TA _ PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR IPA-BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 2 SOE PADA MATERI SISTEM PENCERNAAN
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya prestasi belajar IPA-Biologi di SMP Negeri 2 SoE. Pembelajaran yang cenderung bersifat teacher center menyebabkan pembelajaran menjadi tidak menarik dan membosankan sehingga siswa menjadi pasif hal ini menyebabkan prestasi belajar siswa rendah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar IPA-Biologi materi sistem pencernaan manusia pada siswa kelas VIII melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif picture and picture. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA dan VIIIB yang berjumlah 62 siswa, yang diambil sebagai subyek penelitian melalui pertimbangan dengan guru mata pelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian pretes- posttest nonequivalent control design.Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan awal siswa kelas VIIIA dan VIIIB SMP Negeri 2 SoE, yang memiliki prestasi belajar yang rendah dan belum mencapai KKM yang
ditetapkan, setelah diadakan tindakan Pembelajaran dengan Model Picture and Picture prestasi belajar siswa meningkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar IPA- Biologi kelas kontrol 75 sedangkan kelas eksperimen 81. Begitu pula dengan ketuntasan prestasi siswa pada kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai 61% sedangkan prestasi belajar pada kelas eksperimen memperoleh ketuntasan 94% . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif picture and picture dapat berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 SoE.

Abstract
The background of this research was caused by the low of students’ achievement in learning Biology at SMP Negeri 2 SoE. Learning that always tends to be teacher center caused uninteresting and made students bored when the learning process was done. Therefore, student became passive during the class and it also affected their achievement. The objective of this research was to know the students’ academic achievement especially in learning Biology-Human material digestive system. The research was done by cooperative learning and used picture and picture model. The sample of this research was the grade VIIIA and VIIIB which involved 62 students. This study used a quasi-experimental research design by non-equivalent control pre-test- and post-test design. Based on the result of the observation, students at VIIIA and VIIIB of SMP Negeri 2 SoE had low achievement and have not yet reached the KKM. After implementing Picture and Picture Model in learning Biology, students’ academicachivement was incearsed. The results showed that students’ achievement in learning Biology of control class was on the average of 75 while experiment class was 81. The control class gained score achievement was 61% meanwhile the the experimental class gained score on 94%. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model by using picture and picture effected the learning achievement of students at grade
VIII of SMP Negeri 2 SoE.
