TA_Penerapan Model Group Investigation (GI) Berbantuan Metode Reading-Concept Map untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII di SM.P N 1 Amanuban Selatan

ABSTRAK
Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, dilihat dari hasil belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest posttest teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara cluster random sampling, dikarenakan penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen, untuk itu perlu pengambilan sampel yang representatif. Penelitan ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Amanuban Selatan tahun ajaran 2020/2021 Jumlah sampel penelitianyang digunakan terdiri dari 1 kelas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji N-gain untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan berpkir kritis siswa melalui uji- N-gain dengan hasil 0,76 dengan kategori Sangat baik/tinggi. Dengan demikian hipotesis alternatif (H0) diterima dan hipotesis (H1) ditolak, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Amanuban Selatan dengan model Group Investigation (GI) Berbantuan Metode Reading-Concept Map.

ABSTRACT
This research is aimed to find out the improvement of students’ abilities in critical thingking, seen from the learning outcomes. The mothed used was the quantitative mothed toward a one group pretest posttest design. The sampling technique was used by cluster random sampling, because this research was an experimental research. Therefore, this research needed a representative sampling in taking thr data. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Amanuban Selatan in the academic year 2020/2021. The number of research samples consisted of on class. The data analysis technique used was the N-gain test to measure the improvement of students’ critical thinking skills. The results showed that the increase of students’ abilities through the N-gain test with a result of 0,76 was included in the Very good/ high category. Thus the alternative hypothesis (HO) is accepted and hypothesis (H1) is rejected. In conclusion there are improvements in students’ critical thinking abilities at SMP Negeri 1 Amanuban Selatan toward the Group Invesrigation (GI) model assisted by the Reading- Concept Map Method.
