TA _ STUDENTS’ ATTITUDE TOWARD THE USE OF SHORT STORY TO IMPROVE STUDENTS READING SKILL (A Case Study on the 6th Semester of English Education Study Program in STKIP SoE)
ABSTRACT
This research is conducted to find out the students’ attitude toward the use of short story to improve students reading skill. The participants of this study are ten of six semester students of English department of STKIP SoE. The Qualitative method is applied to collect the data. The data were gathered through close-ended questionnaire items. The result of this research based on questionnaire result analysis items showed that students’ has positive attitude and negative attitude toward the use of short story to improve students reading skill. On the other hands study also resulted that short story can improve students’ reading skill.
