TA _ FACTORS CAUSING STUDENTS’ ANXIETY IN ASKING QUESTION AND STRATEGIES TO OVERCOME ANXIETY: The Case of XA Students of Akomodasi Perhotelan in SMK Negeri 2 Soe

Abstract
This study attempts to find out factors causing students in Akomodasi Perhotelan of SMK Negeri 2’s anxiety in asking question and strategies to overcome anxiety. A descriptive Qualitative research used in this study, through Focus Group Disscussion and semi-structured interview, in which 9 students were interviewed. The finding revealed that the majority of students are anxious in asking question during teaching and learning process, both internal and external factors. Internal factors are the factors occur internally from themselves and external factors are factors come from their environment. However, to cope with their anxiety in asking question, they prepare their own strategies and solution for teachers and students to help them overcome their anxiety in asking question.
