TA _ PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of mathematical problem solving abilities on student achievement. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri Satap Oeusapi for the academic year 2020/2021 which consisted of 2 classes. While the sample of this study was taken 1 class selected by simple random sampling technique. Data collection technique used tests in the form of description questions to obtain data on Mathematical Problem Solving ability. Meanwhile student learning achievement is obtained from the UTS results for the odd semester for the 2020/2021 school year. The data analysis technique used a simple linear regression test. The results obtained a significant value of 0,047 < 0,05 which means that is an influence of mathematical problem solving ability on and student achievement with the regression equation obtained .291,0734,52ˆ XY +=

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas
VIII SMP Negeri Satap Oeusapi tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Sedangkan sampel penelitian ini diambil 1 kelas yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa
soal uraian untuk memperoleh data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Sedangkan prestasi belajar siswa didapat dari hasil UTS semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear
sederhana. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,047 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis terhadap prestasibelajar siswa dengan persamaan regresi yang diperoleh .291,0734,52ˆ XY +=
