TA _ ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA DITINJAU DARI SELF CONFIDENCE

ABSTRACT
Concept understanding is the ability to absorb and understand mathematical ideas. This study aims to analyze the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts in terms of self- confidence. The subjects in this study were students of class VIIID SMPN 2 Soe in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year as many as 20 students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis technique followed the Miles and Huberman model by testing the validity of the data using technical triangulation. The results showed that the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts in terms of self-confidence was different. Students with high levels of self-confidence can achieve five of the six indicators of ability to understand mathematical concepts, students with moderate levels of self-confidence can achieve three indicators, and students with low levels of self-confidence can achieve two indicators.

ABSTRAK
Pemahaman konsep adalah kemampuan menyerap dan memahami ide-ide matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa ditinjau dari self confidence. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIID SMPN 2 Soe semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 sebanyak 20 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data mengikuti model Miles dan Huberman dengan uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa ditinjau dari self confidence berbeda-beda. Siswa dengan tingkat self confidence tinggi mampu mencapai empat dari enam indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, siswa dengan tingkat self confidence sedang mampu mencapai tiga indikator dan siswa dengan tingkat self confidence rendah mampu mencapai dua indikator.
