TA _ PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA

Abstract
This study aims to improve students’mathematical communication skills in investigative group cooperative learning. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental models of the type of one group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Amanuban Barat which consisted of six classes while the research sample was class VII C which was selected by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills in the from of a description. The data analysis technique used paired sample t-test and normalized gain score. The results showed that there was an increase in students ’mathematical communication skills in investigative group cooperative learning. The increase in students’mathematical communication skills is in the medium category with an average gain score of 0,38.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe grup investigasi. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model pre-eksperimental jenis one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN I Amanuban Barat yang terdiri dari enam kelas sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII C yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis berbentuk uraian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t-sampel berpasangan dan skor gain normalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe grup investigasi. Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan rata-rata skor gain sebesar 0,38.
