TA _ STUDENTS’ PROBLEM AND THEIR STRATEGIES IN FACING ORAL CORRECTIVE FEEDBACK
ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to find the application of students‟ ptoblem and their strategy to overcome their problem in Public Speaking class through Oral Corrective Feedback. The samples of this research were the a case of third semester students English Education Program of STKIP Soe. The approach employed in this research was descriptive qualitative. The type of this research is qualitative research. Data collection of this research was conducted through interview and recording.
The data gathered were analyzed from interview which was used to know the students‟ problem an strategy in Oral Corrective Feedback. The research findings showed that the teachers used strategy to overcome the problem like grammar, vocabulary, and pronuncitation. Teachers strategies were practice the grammar, learnning more any words in dictionary, read books related with speaking, watch tv or inews in English. The research findings showed the possetive effects from the use teacher strategy to overcome students problem in Public Speaking class. Moreover, it was proved by the interview questions that both the teacher and students good give feedback through Oral Corrective Feedback in the classroom.
