TA _ PENGARUH KEPERCAYAAN DIRI TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA

Abstract
The aim of this research is to present discussion on the effect of confidance toward learning achievement in math. Descriptive quantitative was the method used in this study. The population covered all the students in grade VIII SMP Swasta Daerah Niki-Niki especially the odd semester that consist of 5 classes. The sample of study was selected 2 class for VIIIA and VIIIB this research were 43 students with simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire to obtain data on self – confidance and UTS scores in mathematics for the even semester of 2022/2023 to obtain data on students mathematics learning achievements. Simple linear regression analysis was used as
the formula applied to analyze the data. The result showed significant rate 0,020 < 0,05 that showed significant effect between self confidance and students’ learning achievement in math. Regression formula also showed that Ŷ= 55,366 + 0,180X which means that for every addition of one unit to self confidance students mathematics learning achievement increases by 1,180 units. Besides that the R square value of 0,125 shows that the effect of self confidance achievement is 12,5% and 87,5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan kajian tentang pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuntitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Daerah Niki-Niki semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023, yang terdiri dari 5 kelas dan
sampel pada penilitian ini dipilih 2 kelas yaitu VIIIA dan VIIIB sebanyak 43 siswa dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket untuk memperoleh data kepercayaan diri dan nilai UTS pada mata pelajaran matematika semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023 untuk memperoleh data prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0,020 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Persamaan regresi linear yang diperoleh adalah Ŷ= 55,366 + 0,180X yang berarti setiap
penambahan satu satuan pada kepercayaan diri maka prestasi belajar matematika siswa bertambah sebesar 0,180 satuan. Selain itu nilai R square sebesar 0,125 menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa sebesar 12,5% dan 87,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
