TA _ MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KONEKSI MATEMATIS SISWA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN MODEL CORE
Abstract
Mathematical connection ability is the ability to associate mathematical concepts or rules with one another, with other fields of study or with applications in the real world. This research is aims to determine students’ mathematical connection abilities by learning model Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE). The research is aims to determine students’ math desingn used is quantitative research a pre-experimental model design in the form of a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The populationns in this study was all students of class IX SMP Negeri 1 Mollo Utaraconsisting of 8 classes and the research sample was class IX.5 wich was taken by simple random sampling. Data collection techniques and instruments used in the test are in the form of description questions consisting of pre-test and post-test questions. Data analysis technique uses paired t-test with prerequisite test, namely the normality test followed by N-gain to find out how much the increase is. Based of the result of analise it is get the score that –tcount = -9,759
