TA _ MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SAVI

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to improve students mathematical representation abilities through the SAVI learning model.The research method used is quantitative research with a pre-experimental model, which is designed in the form of one group pretest-posttest with a population of all class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Soe, odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The subject in this study were all students of class IX.7, who are taken using the simple random sampling technique. The instrument and data collection technique used in this study were tests of mathematical representation abilities Nin the form of essay questions. The mathematical representation ability test used in this research in the form of a pre-test and post-test which are adjusted to indicators of mathematical representation ability. The data analysis technique used is the paired t- sample test with the normality test as the prerequisite test. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students mathematical representation abilities with a normalized gain score of 0,30, so it is said that the increase of students mathematicalrepresentation abilitiesis in the low category.

Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran SAVI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan model pre experimental, yang didesain dalam bentuk onegroup pretest-posttest dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Soe semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IX.7 yang diambil dengan mengggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan representasi matematis dalam bentuk soal uraian. Tes kemampuan representasi matematis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa pre-test dan post-test yang disesuaikan dengan indikator kemampuan representasi matematis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji t-sampel berpasangan dengan uji normalitas sebagai uji prasyaratnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dengan skor gain normalisasi sebesar 0,30 sehinggadikatakan peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa berada pada kategori rendah.
