TA _ MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CORE
Abstract
This research aims to improve students' ability to understand mathematical concepts through the CORE learning model. The method used in this research is quantitative with a pre-experimental model, which is designed in the form of a one group pre-test and post- test. The population in this study were all class XI students of Manekto Kuatnana Christian High School, odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, consisting of 2 study groups. The sample in this study was determined randomly and class XI IPS was selected as the research sample. The data collection technique used in this research was test of students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The instrument used was a test of students' ability understand mathematical concepts in the form of essay questions consisting of a pre-test and post-test which were arranged based on indicators of students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The data analysis technique used is the paired sample t-test with results showing = -7.218 and = 1.753, meaning < then there is an increase in students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The results of research show that there is an increase in students' ability to understand mathematical concepts with a normalized gain score of 0.45. Students' ability to understand mathematical concepts is in the medium category.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran CORE. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan model pre-experimental, yang didesain dalam bentuk one group pre-test dan post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA
Kristen Manekto Kuatnana, semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang terdiri dari 2 rombongan belajar. Sampel pada penelitian ini ditentukan secara acak dan kelas XI IPS terpilih sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa berbentuk soal uraian yang terdiri dari pre-test dan post-test yang disusun berdasarkan indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.
