TA _ English Teachers’ Readiness in Implementing Merdeka Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka)

ABSTRACT
The aim of this research was to find out the teachers’ readiness in implementing Merdeka curriculum. The method of this research was descriptive qualitative with semi structure (in- depth) interview as the instrument of the study. The participants of this research were taken from SMA Negeri 1 Soe especially 5 teachers who teach English lesson in the classroom. The data were collected by interviewing 5 teachers and giving them the reflection statement. The data was analyzed through
three steps such as data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. Based on the data accumulated by the researcher through reflective statement for the teachers and the result of interview showed 95% teachers were ready to implement Merdeka curriculum and 5% teachers were not ready yet in implementing Merdeka curriculum.
