ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes by using a number ruler as a material for adding and subtracting whole numbers. This research uses classroom action research. The research subjects were 15 students, consisting of 6 male students and 9 female students. Date collection used observation and test techniques, in the form of 10 validated description questions. The date analysis used is the N-Gain test. The results of this research show that the number ruler props improve the mathematics learning outcomes in cycle I by 88,33% the N-Gain value of 0,43
with medium criteria and in it was II by 94,23%, the N-Gain is 0,73 with high criteria. Based on these results,it can be concluded that the use of a number ruler in integer material can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of grade III students of SD Negeri Haunobenak.
